Eric Shrimpton

Planting Pastor

Eric grew up in the Blue Ash area of Cincinnati and is a graduate of Sycamore Schools.  After high school, he majored in Communication Studies at Eastern Kentucky University where he was also involved with a ministry called Campus Outreach that he would later work for at the University of Kentucky.  Sensing a call to pastoral ministry, Eric then attended Covenant Seminary where he earned his Masters of Divinity while working for a ministry of Covenant called City Ministry Initiative in St. Louis.  After seminary, he worked as an assistant pastor at North Cincinnati Community Church where he served in various roles before he was sent out to plant Christ Community Church in the Fall of 2023.  Eric is married to Addie, and they have three children, Owen, Annie, and Will.

Gordon Anaple

Planting Elder

Gordon grew up in Cincinnati and has been a long term resident of Blue Ash for over 20 years, as he and his family moved to the area to work with Young Life at Sycamore High School.  Since then, Gordon has continued working with Young Life in a variety of roles, currently serving as the Advancement Coordinator for Young Life Alumni & Friends. In addition to his work with Young Life, Gordon serves as Christ Cincy’s Planting Elder.  As the Planting Elder, he serves in a variety of responsibilities that help guide and oversee the development of Christ Cincy.  Gordon is married to  Soraya, and together they have four adult children.

Osman Jama

Ministry Associate

Osman was born in Somalia and came to the United States as a refugee when he was five.  Growing up in Minnesota, he converted from Islam to Christianity in High School.  Osman then earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Southwest Minnesota State University where he was involved with Cru as a student.  Before his role as Ministry Associate with Christ Cincy, Osman was on staff with Cru at New Mexico State, worked as the Outreach Coordinator at Call of Love Ministries in Cincinnati, and served as North Cincinnati Community Church’s Missionary in Residence.   As Christ Cincy’s Ministry Associate, Osman is set aside under the oversight of Christ Cincy’s Board to do the ministry of equipping and encouraging churches and individuals to engage the ethnic and religious minorities among them.  Osman is married to Kayla and they currently live in Pleasant Ridge.

Steve Brown

Steve serves as an elder at North Cincinnati Community Church in Mason, Ohio where he is involved teaching Sunday School, serving on the Global Missions Team, and leading a men’s discipleship group.  For work, he is the Controller at US Fabrics, Inc in Cincinnati.  He and his wife, Laura live in Mason, Ohio, and they have four grown children and six grandchildren.

Joshua Reitano

Josh currently serves as the Lead Pastor of New City Presbyterian Church in Norwood, Ohio.  He grew up in Columbus and completed his undergraduate work at Miami University in Mass Communications and later joined the staff of CRU upon graduation.  With CRU, he worked to plant a campus ministry at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands before returning to Miami to complete an M.A. in Comparative Religion.  From there, Josh went to Princeton Seminary to complete a Master of Divinity, and then worked as an Assistant Pastor at North Cincinnati Community Church in 2004 and remained at NCCC until planting New City in 2009.  Josh is married to Paige and have two children: Lucy and Crosley.

Walter Wood

Walter Wood Jr. is the founder and Director of Europe City Partners, a ministry started in 2020 to advance the church planting movement in the cities of Europe. After nearly 40 years as an associate pastor, church planter, lead pastor, and Catalyst for City to City Europe, Walter embarked on a new ministry to continue to share his passion for and experience in church planting with planters and pastors in Europe. Walter has been involved in the European church planting scene since 2008, and now is working in collaboration with City to City Europe to support the gospel movement in the cities of Europe. He has been married to Becky for 45 years, they have two grown children and four grandchildren. They reside in the Atlanta, GA area.
Additionally, both Gordon Anaple and Eric Shrimpton serve on the board of Christ Community Church.
