Community Groups are the small group ministry of Christ Community Church intentionally designed to be a space for people to be together, grow together, and pray together. Therefore, each Community Group starts with a potluck style dinner or desert together, followed by a guided discussion around that week's sermon text, and concludes with a time of praying together. Community Groups usually take place on or after the first and third Sunday of every month from September to May with a short break around Christmas and News Years.
Each group is hospitable for families with young children, and it is the responsibility of the group to coordinate child care during the discussion and prayer time if desired. Additionally, families with pre-teens and teens are welcome as older kids are invited to be a part of the discussion and prayer time with adults.
While Community Groups start in September, it is common and easy to join in with a group at any time during the ministry year.
